Information for Students
Kid’s Creek is happy to serve as a training facility for students aspiring to work in speech, occupational or physical therapy. We are honored to serve as an internship site for local high school students participating in TAG, gifted, and honors programs. It’s a joy when we get to share our passion and love for children and their families with the next generation.
Guidelines for Students
Due to the number of requests we receive for student observations, internships and volunteer opportunities, we accept a limited number of students each semester. Students are prioritized in the order their requests are received. We are unable to accommodate last minute requests. Please submit your request 1-2 months prior to your requested observation date.
UPDATE JULY 2020
Due to COVID-19, Kid’s Creek Therapy is currently NOT accepting students for in-person training. Bookmark this page for updates.
Current and Prospective College/University Students:
Schools prefer that observation hours are experienced at varied sites. We limit observation/shadowing hours to 2 days or 8-12 hours of direct therapy observation. Our student coordinator will provide you with the dates/times that are available for you to be with us.
High School Students:
If you are currently participating in TAG, gifted, or honors programs and would like to secure an internship with us, please contact your school’s program director for interviewing with us.
How to Apply:
Please complete and submit the interest form. Once you have done so, our student coordinator will contact you within two business days.
PLEASE NOTE: We have filled all student slots for the summer and early fall. We are currently booking fall observations beginning in October.
