Amber was first introduced to occupational therapy during college when a friend began to pursue occupational therapy. Amber has always had a love for working with special needs children and enjoyed how occupational therapy promoted independence and inclusivity across all population settings.
Amber has experience working in a variety of settings but she has found her passion working with children 0-21 years. Within pediatrics, Amber has experience working with children with autism, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, Down syndrome, and sensory processing disorder. Amber has training in DIR floor time, reflex integration, and sensory processing integration.
Amber grew up in Peachtree City and now lives in Duluth, GA. When she is not at work, she enjoys going on runs, traveling to new places, and going on hikes.
