Emily O., MS, CCC-SLP
Master of Science in Speech Pathology, University of Washington in Seattle
Bachelor of Science in Linguistics, Carleton College
Emily has always loved both language and kids, so speech pathology was a natural fit. Her calming presence enables her to collaborate with families and teach them how to be their child’s therapist so they can maximize the benefits of speech therapy, and she is an advocate of an interdisciplinary approach to pediatric therapy.
Although she is a Tennessee native, Emily moved to Minnesota for college and then to Washington state for graduate school. She then spent several years in Massachusetts working as an outpatient pediatric speech therapist before moving to the Atlanta area. She loves working with children on language, speech, and feeding and has a passion for treating tricky articulation cases.
Emily’s personal interests include roller derby, home projects, and weightlifting. She enjoys being cozy at home where she lives with her husband and their two cats.
