Heather came to Kid’s Creek Therapy in 2022 as a consultant, and joined our staff full time in January of 2023. Heather has worked in healthcare administration since 1997, beginning her career in Primary Care at The Emory Clinic where she managed the Executive Health program for four years. She then managed a gynecology/urogynecology clinic, Peachtree Gynecology, for the next seventeen years, then was selected Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Family Practice Center in Atlanta where she helped them grow from one location to five locations during her eight-year tenure.

Healthcare has always been Heather’s passion, and operations is where she finds her enjoyment in this field. She is happy to have the opportunity to work with kids and parents, and she loves to hear the therapists tell the parents about the therapy sessions and how the kids are progressing. A native of Atlanta, she spends a lot of time with family and friends. She and her husband Tommy have two adult children who attend Samford University. If they aren’t visiting their children in Birmingham, they are either playing tennis or hanging out with their “empty nest child” – Champ, their golden retriever.
