Sierra is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with a Master of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from Jackson State University. With a passion for helping others, she specializes in working with children of all ages facing challenges in language, fluency, and articulation, with a particular interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and gestalt language processing. Sierra’s research background, including her work in sociolinguistic diversity and educational equity, enriches her approach to communication in diverse settings.
Originally from Georgia, Sierra pursued her undergraduate degree in Mississippi on a softball scholarship before returning to Georgia for graduate school. She now resides in the Gwinnett County area, where she actively participates in the softball community as an assistant coach for a travel softball team. In her free time, Sierra enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in her church’s children’s ministry, and competing in CrossFit.
